Ink on water, drop them forever
On a black backdrop, you play my tape
Jump on the woods and play with the bark

If poetry were a way to go
I would mark my deepest afflictions,
on the clouds in sky;
and send them home
never to return
On my journey beyond
that my heart would settle
for once and for all,
and never will the tides come again
with troubles afloat
All at an end

All ceased.
Understanding increased.
This understanding is solid. It is life.
All hurdles are alike.
The different paths equally bright.
But not all a trodding tide.

Through the tyranny of the world,
I have deluded my soul
Under what Art Cover,
Should I beseech my gall?

Certain times, one experiences trips, journeys, car-rides whatever you call it; that one wishes never to end. One wishes for the destination never to appear, the gate never to open. The roads to keep going and the gears to keep changing and the engine to keep running.

“An eagle, king of birds, sailing on his wings aloft a farmer’s yard, saw a cat there basking in the sun, mistook it for a rabbit, stooped, seized it, and carried it up into the air, intending to prey on it. The cat, turning, set her claws into the eagle’s breast; who, finding his mistake, opened his talons and would have let her drop, but Puss, unwilling to fall so far, held faster; and the eagle, to get rid of this inconvenience, found it necessary to set her down where he took her up.”
It is one of the three aesop-like, unsigned fables written by Franklin who protested at the use of eagle as the American symbol. He employed it as a token of the British government. How clever!!
A new somewhat tasty beer
April 1, 2010
This new beer that I lifted from my workplace is quite nice. It’s called Monteith’s Radler. Well I lifted this beer because it was a derelict tucked in one of the shelves for quite some time. As soon as I had my first sip, I had a cool breeze rush through my spine. I got blown away by the sweet tangy tone in my first sip. It felt like the major keys of a guitar, the sweeter sounding notes that I might relate to you as jack johnson kinda music. But as I sauntered my way through the bottle, the tangy-citrus tone gave me a little freak and it started to taste more like a tonic, a prescription most certainly a concoction of an ayurvedic doctor. I started having second thoughts about the beer now. And I suddenly remembered the old adage, “The waves never rise but when the wind blows.” The first breeze that I felt was of a most transient nature. Having done its business, the breeze simply died away and its effect easily forgotten. I could as easily feel the breeze again as I could smell local Arunachali rice beer from New Zealand.
What suddenly happened, this great first-sip-beer turned umm altogether. I guess there’s more to it than just the taste. I guess the packaging has a lot to do as well. hoho. Am applying my media ethics from my college classes. Well, honestly the color of this beer (I mean the beer bottle) is light and shiny green. I find this color highly appaling for a beer in the first place because it reminds me of a dishwashing liquid that I use at home. The formula’s called SUNLIGHT and it’s made of apple and baking soda. I am already repelled by its apple like smell. So to think of a beer and dishwashing liquid at the same time is a lid-off from an ugly gutter.
